[Ham-Computers] RE: Boot order issue with PROMISE RAID array and newVIA HD

Aaron,

Thank you. 

Unfortunately, SCSI is not an option as a boot device. The options are
floppy, ATAPI CD, and a particular hard drive or array.

If I connect the new SATA drive, after POST, I get the following message:

"Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot
device and press a key"

I'm using the current BIOS (ver. 1017). 

Any other thoughts?
