Thanks - My computer currently has XP SP1, and I looked for the Firewall
Safe list. Starting with the main NIS screen, I clicked Norton Internet
Security, double clicked Personal Firewall, and clicked the Programs Tab.
Automatic Program Control is checked. Is the Manual Program Control area
the Firewall Safe List? If so, do you recall how SP2 is identified?
Here are my Microsoft listings:
Anti Spyware (listed twice - 4 entries)
Application Error Reporting
Application Layer Gateway Services
Generic Host Processsor for Win 32 Services
Help and Support Center
Help Center Hosting Server
Internet Explorer
Printer Spooler Services
Windows Explorer
Windows Media Player
Windows Messinger
Word (but not Excel)
Thnaks, Jim
