The program is "Kazaa', more than that I do not no.
he was not being charged, but it wants him to pay an annual fee. I have a
sneaking hunch it is the program he is now supposed to buy. Any fees for songs
may be a different item here.

It sounds like he already has Itunes if he is being charged money.
Just my opinion but he does have some software that allows the
downloading of songs.
I tunes charges 99 cents a song.
By the sounds of the gentleman's problem I would say the Ipod is
probably the easieast.
