[Ham-Computers] PACKET/APRS SET UP

HI all
particulars
running a HP pavilion which has had the ME O/S stripped out and WIN XP HOME INSTALLED
running at 800MHZ and 512 MB RAM
hooked to it I have a pcpackratt PK-232 MBX TNC and I ICOM IC-V8000 2 meter radio and the mic switch from MFJ

NOW I am looking for a good PACKET/APRS software and a diagram of the hookups to the computer and radio

any help out there
