Hi Nate,
Greetings from Pittsburgh. I see from my "quoted" text I need to proof
read a little better. I haven't looked at it yet but I assume that the
composer in Mozilla is the same one that I am using under Netscape
Communicator in Windoze. Yes I noticed that Writer in OpenOffice will
do web pages as Word does but I don't think it would be my first choice
on either platform. By the way, I have been using OpenOffice on my
Windows machines and beating the drum about it to anyone who has an
interest and will listen. I will check out FTE and give it a try. I
cut my teeth in the UNIX world with Emacs and so far I find myself
returning to it in the Linux world when I need a text editor as opposed
to a word processor. I was using it this morning to change some
configuration files on a system at church. Thanks for the welcome.
Linux has put some of the "fun" back into computers for me. I look
forward to having enough systems set up that I have to install a patch
panel to expand the number of ports I can access on the LinkSys router.
:-) Should make a good "winter time" project.
