Hello All,

I have run smack into a brick wall here and I need some help gentlemen.

I have a 22 page document. It is on individual printed pages. Some is just text,
some is text with a photo mixed in on the same page, some are schematics and
some have a drawing with text. I need to scan them and put them into a single
document to be sent out by e-mail.

I need to include a page break to assure that part of page two does not get
appended to page one and so forth.

I have had absolutely no success in scanning each page, saving it and then
trying to append it in Word Pad. I must use Word Pad, as the forty+ people who
want this document do not all have the same word processing software, but they
all have Word Pad. hence, I must use what is common to all of them.

I can do this in Professional Write 2.22, a DOS word processing program, with
ease. Unfortunately, only the text, as it does not support the photos mixed in.
But I sure can not do it in Windows! Ridiculous. Surely there must be some way
to do this.

All I can think of doing is to scan a page, save it out as an image, convert it
by using an OCR program to text and then load it into Word Pad. But I cannot
append to the file I load! I find no menu options to do this.

How can I do this gentleman? What seems to me that should be easy to do, is
turning out to be anything but. Can one of you offer me a solution that will
work?

Thank you.
