Greetings from Pittsburgh. I am by no means a Linux guru but I have
found that the latter versions of Linux (after say 6.0 or so) install on
just about any Intel box. You might have problems getting video or
sound to work properly. I just installed Red Hat 9 on my Dell laptop
and it went without a hitch. I also installed the command line version
of same on an old Compaq DeskPro. That is not going to work out because
the hard drive is not large enough for what I intend the machine for but
other than disk space it came right up.
