Have pics if that will help; Need to identify a piece of
computer external hardware that came with a new PC
that handles functions at my station.
Description:
Looks like external CD player with tray, vol, eject, spkr,
and MIC on front..says MPC2 Multimedia PC on front,
and "Creative" and "Sound Blaster" on CD tray, but "Sound"
and "Blaster" are Y shaped from an emblem on right end for
tray front
on rear are following labels:
H33260a and 02-2759-07-036081
also on rear are:
four dip switches, D15 female game port, DIN "in" and "out"
females "MIDI", D-37 female "To CDROM Drive", D-62
female ""To SB Easy 16", Rca female, "Serial Digital out",
3.5 mm females, (4) "CD Audio", "Line In", "Line Out", "Spk
Out"
This appears to be some digital conversion system...but if
it has a CD tray, why does it have a connector labeled TO
CDROM Drive? Or is some Midi device?
I can't find anything about the unit on Creative web site,
and they referred me to EMU who never heard of it,
Anybody on the list recognize it? I want to get manual
and drivers
