Roger that, but which jacks are they? Nothing here indicates it is a line level
audio output jack.

Duane,

Yes you can take the audio output directly from the DSS receiver to a stereo
receiver.  You can use any line level input such as cassette deck, fm
receiver, etc.

I realize this is totally off the topic here, but I have no correct list to
ask
it on. Hence, I am hoping that one of you Ham computer wizards might have
some
suggestions.

The receiver is a Sony model A55 with uhf remote, the new dual lnb variety.
It
is for DSS Direct TV. I would like to just get an audio feed, no video. The
TV
remains off. Can I take the audio direct from the DSS receiver and feed it
to an
external amp and speakers? If so, which of thes various connectors on the
rear
should I use?
