Greetings All,

Ok, help the old blind dude out here.

I have thirty pages of a document. I must scan each one. My objective is to put
them all together into a single document and save it out as one file in .txt
format.

I tried scanning into Word Pad. No good. It wants to save every single page as a
separate file. Then when I try to load the first file from the 'windows\temp'
directory where they are being stored, it refuses to allow it. Gave up on that.

Then I tried to scan into a text file. It too saves each one as a separate file.
Fine. I went into the word processing program and loaded the first file. I
figured I would just add the second one to the end of the first, as in append
it. Well, it used a line of 255 characters by default. Hence, the title is on
the same line as the first sentance! Not useable that way and no option to set
the desired margins for the text file from the scanner.

So tell me, how the heck can I scan these pages and build them into a single
file?

I am using either Word Pad or a DOS word proscessing program, Professional Write
2.22

Thanks.
