It may be the easiest, but is not the least expensive. The problem is no
shielding. You can spray the inside of the monitor with material to reduce the
radiation issue. However, it can be dangerous, so you need to follow the
instructions! I know of several who did this with good results.
Moving the monitor farther away also helps.
You can also use a laptop computer.
I don't use a computer in the same room with the radios, so I never have the
problem
.

Hi Jim:
The easiest way to solve your interference problem is to replace the CRT monitor
with an LCD flat panel monitor. LCD monitors do not cause interference like a
CRT monitor.
You can also try changing the vertical sync rate and the display resolution.
This will not eliminate all interference, but it will change the frequency of
the interference so that you may find a combination that you can live with.
Depending on the interference level, you may also reduce the interference by
placing a couple of large ferrite chokes or torroids on the video cable at both
the monitor and PC ends of the cable.

1. move monitor
2. tear monitor apart and put rf shielding inside
3. buy rf shielded monitor
4. move radio
