Yes, it will see it as RS-232 port. That is the advantage of using the USB
adapter. Also, with a hub, you can run a lot of USB devices.

Thanks for the tip, I'll look into it.  Only thing I was concerned about was
if the software I'm using would see it as a RS-232 port.
