[Ham-Computers] Re Battery Failure On Compaq 1210

This OS is Windows 95a. I have looked for the power management options, but do
not find them under either 'power' or 'system' in the 'control panel'.	
	
Where are they hidden?	
	
I noted that the thirty minute warning of low battery power tone sounded after
seven minutes of operation and the battery power level showed 90%. This should
run about ninety minutes before this tone is heard. Hence the battery only
lasted for thirty-seven minutes before the system powered itself down
automatically. The battery power indicator was at 60%, but dropped straight to
zero from there.	
	
If any of you have a Windows 95a OS and can tell me where the power handling
options are for a laptop, it would be appreciated. Thanks.
