You might want to have Batteries Plus check it out as they can some times
reset the battery's memory...
I have had this done before...  Check it out it might could save you some
money...

Sounds to me like that battery is shot. My Girl Friends' Compaq does
about the same thing. i tdoesn;t charge all the way and the battery runs
down from a full charge in about 20 miuntes....I have been looking for a
new pbattery for it and be prepared to pay about 90 - 120 dolloars for a
battery. Course if anyone here knows where to get on cheaper, please let
us know. I need to get one. Thanks.
