[Ham-Computers] Using USB printer for DOS program??

I use aol v.7.0 via 56k modem.

Did what you said ( all new to me-hi hi)  and  had all those things including 
default gateway ( 172.175.176.121)  

Then typed ping xxx .xxx.xxx.xxx using the default gateway and got 4 lines 
replying to a 32 bit ping that  each indicated response <10ms.

But when I tried to ping www.gateway.com  it did not connect.

Then a Telnet window popped up ( I have never seen this before-assume it is 
something in windows)  that showed  two addresses-  1. was vaxar.vassar.edu 
and 2. was pkw8gn.apk.net.

My daughter is home from vassar college andnow using my computer so I guess 
thats where the  1st one came from.  The second one Im not sure but at least 
its a ham callsign.  Does this make sense?
