Greetings,
I’ve been a member of this fine group since our “magical” Duane was our Moderator.

Trying to determine if there is any interest for some rare Hallicrafters (and other) radio equipment for local pickup (only) in Orange, CA (So. Calif).

My good friend (Frank - W6LPU) joined Duane a few years ago during COVID. Unbeknownst to me, his XYL donated many old radio items to a local Ham Club. Oddly, they left a few treasures behind in his old horse stable that was converted 15 years ago to a Ham Shack.

The good news is that the remaining items are priced to sell quickly (each $100 or less). The bad news is that the stable has a bad roof and is dirty & musty. None of the equipment was covered as Frank was confined to a wheelchair since 2017. I visited from out of state last month to pay my respects and took that dreaded walk down the hill to the stable that was once vibrant with his glowing radios.

Before I retrieve Frank’s list of remaining radios and post some photos, I’d like to first determine if there is any interest among the Group. Their operating condition is unknown so they are priced as “parts only”.

I am posting since it would be sacrilegious to commit them to a dumpster😥

Thanks in advance for any responses either here or privately to my email address posted on QRZ dot com.

Thanks in advance and best 73,

Mike
