Several years ago I had an SX-88 apart for a restoration in process and this same question was asked by another member of The Antique Radio Forum who also had one apart with a broken belt. I measured the dimensions of my belt along with the total tooth count and the tooth count per inch and posted the info there. I think he was going to check to see if there was some other industrial application with a belt which might be made to substitute. A search should turn up that discussion.GregWA1KBQSent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

If you can help please let me know.  If someone is working this issuealready let me know and I will back off. 73, Gary H.
