Can anyone provide a photo of an SR-160 or SR-500 VFO assembly? It
definitely looks like the former owner of this one totally wrecked the
VFO assembly - On further examination, it appears that the VFO cover on
the bottom is missing, a spline screw was brutally drilled out of the
dial, and the shielding around the variable is missing. The VFO appears
to be about 1 MHz off.

According to the manuals, this should be the same for the 160 and 500.
Any help would be appreciated. I do not get mail reliably to my
personal address unless you are whitelisted, so if you have any advice
(or replacement VFO for this rig) please let me know via the list.

Thanks -

Jeff
