[Hallicrafters] License question.

    Ham licenses of all classes have a liftime of 10 years. They can be 
renewed on line. See the ARRL or FCC sites for more.
    I am not sure but believe the old first class radiotelephone license 
was made perpetual but look this up in the FCC rules.
    Long ago ham licenses were issued for both operator and station. 
That changed and hams have received single licenses covering both for 
decades.
