Hi, I just visited a friend and he is under the impression that his ham license and his 1st Class license are no longer - he had them about 50 years ago. I thought both licenses were "forever" and only the call sign expired. Information (and opinions) sought. Thanks. Skip Magnuson W7WGM Spokane, WA
