Gentlemen,

I have consulted the Radio Gods and supplicated for wisdom in this matter.

Two watts they say.

Actually, whatever you can find that is about 10 K will do fine, I’d guess.

(The thing doesn’t have a standing DC current, does it?  Like in the cathode circuit of two or three tubes?  Sorry, I have not looked at the schematic.)
