[Hallicrafters] restoring yellowed clear plastic fronts on SX-100 & SX-96 S-meters

I have had some success with a suspension made of Hydrogen Peroxide &
Glycerin exposed to sunlight or a Black Light trying to restore white
plastic that has yellowed. The Peroxide does the job, the Glycerin is there
to hold it on vertical surfaces. I have not tried it on clear plastic, maybe
it would work?
