[Hallicrafters] SX96/SX100 Oscillator pulling on higher freqs?

HI - 
 
I have both an SX96 and an SX100 that seem to pull the oscillator when  
listening to a strong SSB signal, starts at about 21 mhz and gets worse as  
frequency makes it to 10 meters.
 
Is this a known flaw, and if so is there a fix, or any other ideas?
 
Any thoughts would be appreciated, trying to enjoy them on 10 meters while  
the getting is good.
