"NO"....... I prefer the Cyclone II. The 400A, Cyclone III took all the good redesigns of the Cyclone II and cobbled up the P.A. and produced and unstable rig with spurs and harmonics. Its big claim to fame was the "balanced PA". It works fine at the drive level and the band where you set it. As soon as change bands or change the drive level, if you don't have matched tubes, guess what???? Right the pa is unbalanced. So you really need matched tubes,,,,, OH, the elaborate balancing network was supposed to eliminate that need. Oh well, let's just say I am not a fan of the Cyclone III.
I use my Cyclone II, I turn on the 400A, Cyclone III once a month to keep it dry.

So it is ONLY a Cyclone II....I think one time you told me the 400A Cyclone III is the one to buy??
