[Hallicrafters] tinnitus.. who knew?

[ thought I'd posted earlier, mea culpa,  pardon if this is a duplicate. blame my tinnitus.]

 What a plethora of posts; that's more great info (some unsettling)
than I'd seen before and much I didn't know.  I'm glad I asked... it's been worsening
over the last year or so and I've been studiously ignoring it, at least until now.
Yes, I'll take your sage advice and see an ENT asap, I greatly appreciate the
wake-up call.  My partner's mentioned to me that I often ask her to repeat
what she's said. 

 I do, as well as Mike, have a left/right ear frequency difference, perhaps that's why
off-key guitar riffs, vocals, pianos etc. make me cringe.

  And if tinnitus is or might be genetic, I need to speak to my family.  I just 
thought of something else, though, but I'll research it before I post anything.
