I believe there is currently a newer model of the 936. They go for about
$80. It is one of those you have to use it to believe it how can such a
small iron do such a big job---it can
I can put PL-259 on RG-8 (and do it right) all day long with the little iron
I also have ocassion to assemble large industrial MS connectors with 12ga
wire---no problem
Have had one in the shop for decades and all I ever changed was tips. And
that is day in day out shop use.
