Thanks Brian,

I was just looking at things again.Took the cover off of the 6146 
finals.  I have noticed that I dont seem to see any glow out of my 
6146's at any switch setting. Also, I have been hearing a faint snapping 
sound indicating that I might have a sparking situation. It is coming 
from the back right corner of the radio where a can capacitor sits. I 
might possibly have some bad caps in there. I need to determine why I 
dont have the finals lighting up. I would assume they should be lit up 
in standby also? Or at least when I put the rig into transmit? Let me know.

You didn't indicate if there is any indication of activity with various stages.  We need more detail.   If the osc is working and the freq gets multiplied for higher bands like 20/15/10 then you should hear those freqs too.  Transmitters are simple. Just go one stage at a time.
