Ron, thanks much for the info and picture! Using your info, my FPM cover is
happy again.  I used #6 hardware, metal spacer, and a Nylock nut.  Don't
understand why Hallicrafters didn't use a PEM nut or Revnut but, hey, they
probably figured no one would have to be messin' with the insides of the
FPM-300. :-)

Hi Chris,

Looking from the front of the radio the spacers are Nylon, 1/8" wide on the
right and 1/4" wide on the left. I'll get a diameter in a bit and pictures
as soon as I find the camera. The screws look to be #6 and screw in to a
sort of PEM nut, more on this with the pictures. Back in about a half hour
with more. (update from second message) Okay Chris, the spacers are 5/16"
diameter and the screws are 6-32. Picture attached
