BC610.

Something from the late 40's. HT32 family is at least 10 years newer than
your SX42.

I really don't think the HT-32 is a very good match... Hope somebody comes
up with a better idea.

Subject: [Hallicrafters] Appropriate Matching Transmitter question

Fellow Hallicrafters enthusiasts, I have a question for the group. I am
rebuilding an SX-42 back to life electrically and cosmetically along side an
R-42. My goal was to match it up with a transmitter, hopefully a Hally
version. I realize the SX-42 is more of a general coverage receiver but I
assume that some used the ham bandspread as a ham receiver. Was there ever a
period matching transmitter for the SX-42? I see the HT-32 is similar
cosmetically but I don't believe the years match up.
