Alright,
After everybody's great suggestions, coax swapping seems to be working 
so far. I dont want to get too excited yet since I havent really put the 
rig through the "on the air" test yet. But, I did change out the RG-58 
for a piece of Belden RG-8 and it seems to be working well so far. SWR 
and power on the meter looks to be more correct, where the RG-58 was a 
bit curious to me showing a little higher swr than I would have thought 
knowing my antennas. I am not getting the rig to go into transmit when I 
go from warmup to standby as before. Lets keep our fingers crossed that 
this may have been the culprit. Keep tuned and I will let you all know 
if this seems to have been the fix. If not, more testing.
