Jim,
If my memory is working right. The HT-32 uses a bridge "T" balanced
modulator using a 12AU7(maybe 12AT7), and the HT-32B uses a 7360 beam
deflection tetrode to give a 'deeper' carrier suppression. I like the sound
of the 32 vs the 32B. There were other differences also, am not sure of all
of them, differences in the fan, and I believe they may have had the VFO
output to conceivably transceiver with the SX-115, not sure. Also was
factory PTT.

Can someone tell me the difference between the Hallicrafters HT-32 and the
HT-32B? I know the B has a different VFO tuning knob/window, but other than
that, what is the difference? I have a HT-32 now that is working well, and
have a chance to buy a clean HT-32B. Guess I am wondering if I am going to
gain anything.
Thanks, Jim Marshall K6OLY
