Good evening Joe:

Cant remember for sure but you can determine which way to go.  Align band 4 
so the image is below the dial frequency; the Local oscillator will be below 
the dial frequency as well.

Then place a probe from your frequency counter close to a LO point and tune 
across the band.  If you are on the correct side, the LO will track 
approximately 455Kc from the dial frequency from end to end of the band.  If 
you are on the wrong side, the LO will not track 455Kc from the dial 
frequency from end to end of the band and will actually cross  to the other 
side of the dial frequency.

Do the same for the other bands.

On Band 3 and 4  is the image supposed to appear BELOW or ABOVE the 
frequency y ou d esire.  I seem to recall one band was BELOW and t he ot her 
ABOVE.
