   Automotive aerosol belt dressing dabbed on the string. gives it just 
the amount of traction it needs. N2ZD

My trick for SAVING existing, but slipping dial-cords and treating NEW 
ones
is to use Cello rosin (like the Cello you PLAY).  It's the softest of 
all
the instrument rosins and provides a treatment which does NOT gather 
dust &
dirt, but hangs on very well.
