I once wrote, in my column for the Kansas Amateur Radio Newletter, about
just such a thing - also mentioning, that it's IMPORTANT to make your
friends, wife, sig-other, or parents AWARE of WHAT you have in that little
room, and roughly what it's worth. Also, whom to contact to help them with
disposal, so it does'nt end up in a garage sale or worse - a dumpster.
A "pocket history" of your ham-self is important too. It' a hobby that's
put many of us on a life's career-path, and as it was SO important, it
should NOT be forgotten. Yeah, and if you're in that 10th. call area, be
sure they understand WHY that big O in your callsign has a slash through it!
(wish the website accepted the ASCII zero)
73 (as I listen to my SX-62A with a bluegrass show coming out of the R-42)
