[Hallicrafters] PS-6 Power Supply

I am in the process of restoring a pair of Hallicrafters transverters,
HA-2 and HA-6, and have some concerns about the P-26 power supply. The
HV filter capacitor is a serried pair of 500V rated FP type capacitors
which makes one of them floating about 400V or so above ground. They
are mounted above the chassis. Both have plastic insulating sleeves on
them, but there is no cage inclosing the PS. One solution would be to
put it where no person or pet could get to it, but that would be rather
inconvenient. Another solution would be to build a cage for it.

I have a great big totally caged 2.5KV Johnson PS sitting right next to
the desk and would have no concern if the cat decided to climb on top of it.

Am I being overly concerned about the safety of this situation?
