Bob, I used to have a 111 when I was a new ham about 50 years ago. It had pretty
ood sensitivity, but drifted a lot. If you are looking at one for a collection,
hat is fine. But if you want to use it on the air the SX-101 is a lot better
eceiver. I kind of put the HT-37 and the SX-111 as cheaper and lighter versions
f the HT-32 and SX-101. Of course, if you want the ultimate Hallicrafters
eceiver, get an SX-115, if you can find one. But you will pay big bucks for it.

have been looking at a SX-111. I have the impression it is pretty much a
am band only version of the SX-100.
Am I missing something?
