[Hallicrafters] SX-111?

Bob, I used to have a 111 when I was a new ham about 50 years ago. It had pretty good sensitivity, but drifted a lot. If you are looking at one for a collection, that is fine. But if you want to use it on the air the SX-101 is a lot better receiver. I kind of put the HT-37 and the SX-111 as cheaper and lighter versions of the HT-32 and SX-101. Of course, if you want the ultimate Hallicrafters receiver, get an SX-115, if you can find one. But you will pay big bucks for it.

I have been looking at a SX-111. I have the impression it is pretty much a
ham band only version of the SX-100.

Am I missing something?
