Powder coating is pretty close to bullet proof for most uses. Getting
other paint or sealer to stick to it would be no small feat in itself.

It's worth trying just a small sample before a large cash outlay, just
to see if it meets your requirements. If so, buy more. If not, you're
not out a lot for trying.
