[Hallicrafters] S 76 Question

Alex, W4TED won a S-76 in the official Hallicrafters Contest in about 1951 
or 2.  He still has it and it works fine.

I noticed in  old QSTs that for a an issue or two the receiver was called 
the SX-76.

The S-76 used the same IF scheme that the SX-96 and SX-100.

I remember seeing one at the Surplus Store just off I-4 in Orlando in 1995. 
Looked OK and was marked $45.  I was in a rental car and decided not to try 
to take the receiver on the plane or ship it to me UPS.
