Maybe a typo Ron, but you mentioned mica caps leaking oil?  Did you have 
leaking caps in the PS section or were the micas in the RF section 
leaking.

I have a URM 25F that has given my yeoman service for years and still 
works well.  The only problem I have ever had was the modulation quit. 
By barely moving the balance pot on the bridge a bit then back, it 
started again and has continued to work.

I am curious about the leaking caps.
