[Hallicrafters] 5894 Tube

Are the 5894 and 7854 tubes interchangeable?  I have a HA-6 transverter 
and need a replacement for the 5894.  I seem to remember that the 7854 
is a heavier duty 5894.  I have a couple of 7854's.  Do anyone know?
