Reproduction bottom cabinet covers are, O'm pretty sure, available from Dan Arney who is often on this reflector.
Ot wouldn't be hard to make one yourself, if you have a template. It's a piece of not too thick sheet steel with some vent slits, and about 12 volt holes around the edges to correspond with the holes around the opening in the cabinet bottom. I think the vent slits also serve as alignment access; the radio has to be finally aligned with the cover in place.
I think what Al and I were discussing may have been the bottom cover for the rack mount version. Believe it or not, I actually have one of these legendary items. They are very seldom seen. This covers the entire bottom of the chassis, not just the RF deck. It's made of steel. It has a few vent slits on one side, and a sort-of screen made of sheet aluminum beneath part of the power supply/audio area. This screen is like that in the earlier SX-28 RF tube covers.
