[Hallicrafters] Help With HT-32A

Hi:

If it blew immediately on turn on then it's circuit short anywhere beyond 
the fuse.  If the rig turns on for a few seconds or better then blows.  It's 
a component or some kind of live connection touching another.
Things to try:
Check the ac cord and make sure it's still good and the fuses are the 
correct kind.
Pull all the rectifier tubes and see if the filamants light up in the rest 
of the rig
If the rigs sits there with filaments lit then you have a short in the power 
supply or beyond.
If it sits there with lit filaments you can try plugging in one rectifier at 
a time until POOF!
If the radio has original paper caps in it, it's time to recap ALL the 
electrolytics.
Take two asprin and call me in the morning.
