Hi Carl:
Only hooked one on that one --- was certain to hear from two others. BTW,
You are a great source of information from an era that I believe was the
best in a century. I'm 70 years old, have eight children, thirty one grand
children, and nine great grand children. Worked with Big Blue for 30 years
as an International large systems support engineer and 12 years with a high
tech lab writing and presenting research papers. Love to hang glide, fly
fixed wing, and be crazy with the kids.
Now you know something about me and understand that I am a human being and I
know something about you and you are flesh and blood, just maybe next time
we cross paths on the reflector we can carry on a courteous conversation. I
wish you and yours the best and hope to hear from you.
BTW, Walt had just put that SR-150 on the bench for restoration a day or two
ago, found a melted final coil and ordered one from me Saturday. Probably
went to work on the receive function yesterday or the day before. Don't
believe he manufactured that problem.
Kindest regards Jim K9AXN
