[Hallicrafters] Scope and sweep gen

The 7600 series Tek scopes have nice big screens and go very cheaply on Ebay,
usually with a couple of plugins: timebase and amp. For IF alignment I use
a Tek FG504 function/sweep generator, and a dual beam 7844, but both tend to
be a bit pricey.

The all-tube 310, 310A and 516 are great 'scopes, with extremely crisp, sharp
traces, but they aren't dual beam. The 310/A is a thing of beauty IMHO.

I love my dual beam Tek 556 - a tube/transistor hybrid, but it's even more
of a boatanchor than nearly all the Hallicrafters. And certainly more noisy.
