Id look at the vibrator itself and then research what its manufacturer
suggested. Mallory, Radiart, and others had catalogs with that info.

As far as voltage 1600V was the norm.



*****Thanks carl,problem resolved itself by letting the smoke out of the
cap.Found a .0068uF,1.5kV cap in the junk box,output waveform on
secondary now looks pretty close to perfect.
