The chipping of the overspray is a risk but the Stone Grey Satin is a
beautiful match. Used it for years and seems to be very durable.

The problem with over-spraying is that the original paint will often start
to "flake off". This is especially true when there are chips and/or deep
scratches in the original paint.

The perfect paint for the SR-2000/400/400A is ACE hardware Stone grey satin.
If you bead blast the case to roughen it up you can paint without a primer.
Comes in a spray can. If the old finish is not to badly chipped, you can
paint over it to preserve the texture but the smooth finish looks much
nicer. Try it on a cabinet, you won't be disappointed.
