I agree, the SX-100 is a severe dissapointment unless you just want it for 
AM. Otherwise the mechanical instability and the usual Halli drift 
predominate. Its a great looking little radio so I do have one that stays on 
the shelf after the refurb.

I also get a few a year in for rework and they are all the same.
