Nah, it's just that 75m section of the band, Jim. There's a reason
some refer to it as 'the ghetto'.

AM is alive and well elsewhere, particularly down below 3750. Part of
the problem with nets though, along with the 'frequency ownership'
issue, is the perceived need to run them in the general class section
for greater participation.

Larry's right that you do hear quite an array of interesting equipment
and signals, sadly you won't hear 90% of them again until the next
'net'.

Hat's off to Larry for all he's done and continues to do to encourage
participation. Sadly, some things beyond his control will never
change.
