     Thank you Les, this is exactly what I wanted to know. 
Two folks on this list have now told me and given me a lead 
to someone who makes clones. Before asking on this list I 
did so several other places with no response. I was happy to 
find a list specializing in H stuff because I have 
inadvertently become a Hallicrafters collector. For some 
reason, which is obviously shared with many others, 
Hallicrafters equipment has a particular attraction for me. 
My very first real radio was an S-38B (which I still have in 
storage) bought new when I was about eight.
